About PIVOT Baltimore
A woman’s past does not determine her future.
We believe:
Every woman deserves a chance to write her redemption story.
From here.
For you.
PIVOT Baltimore is a nonprofit program that provides women returning from incarceration with wrap-around services that help them return to their families, their communities, and the workforce.
Our team of experts and advocates are a representation of the community we serve, with 30% of our staff being program graduates and 80% being Black women.
During our nine-week, we provide our participants with success coaching, career development and placement, mental health support, trauma and addiction counseling, and more. We also leverage our deep network of government and nonprofit partners, allowing us to move quickly to locate resources and make critical connections for our participants.
Year after year, our participants have shown that the PIVOT Baltimore model works:
While the average recidivism rate in Baltimore is over 80%, the recidivism rate for the women who complete our program is less than 5%.
